LedgerHQ
Use LedgerHQ

LedgerHQ mobile app

Use LedgerHQ mobile as a company owner or accountant, including Tally, companies, requests, coding, statements, reports, and support.

LedgerHQ mobile is a production companion to the web app. It uses the same companies, books, requests, reports, and guarded accounting services—not a separate mobile database or sample environment.

The app supports company owners and accountant/firm users. Their navigation is different because the work is different.

Sign In And Device Access

Sign in with the same LedgerHQ email and password used on the web. The mobile app is locked to the production LedgerHQ service. Password AutoFill is supported on iPhone.

After a successful password login, the app can save the protected device credential for Log in with Face ID. Face ID unlocks the locally protected credential; it does not replace the LedgerHQ account or weaken normal server authorization. Signing out removes the mobile session.

The app checks for compatible updates when it launches. App Info in More shows the installed app version and update context when support needs it.

Accountant Navigation

The accountant bottom tabs are:

  • Firm — a quick launcher with plain company and connected-bank counts, Talk with Tally, Companies, and Requests;
  • Tally — the full-screen, firm-wide Tally conversation;
  • Companies — choose a company, then work in that company's mobile workspace;
  • Requests — the firm-wide client-request and message queue;
  • More — firm profile, Fast coding, notification preferences, support, theme, app information, and sign out.

The Firm tab is intentionally not a company list or work dashboard. Use Companies to browse and switch company workspaces.

Work From Companies

The Companies tab is dropdown-first. Select a company to see swipeable bank feed cards, useful work counts, and actions for Coding, Requests, Reports, Statements, Reconcile, Accounts, and Journal.

Company-scoped screens keep the company selector at the top. Coding can assign and post straightforward bank-feed rows through the same production posting service as the web app. When no actions remain, mobile hides the action buttons instead of showing a stack of disabled controls.

Use the desktop app for setup-heavy work, complex imports, large batch changes, or investigations that need several screens at once.

Talk With Tally

The accountant Tally tab is firm-wide and shares the normal Tally conversation with the web app. It has no company dropdown. Name the company in the message when the request is company-specific.

Tally shows working progress, lets the user send a follow-up while a turn is in progress, renders structured question batches, and keeps short results in the chat. The mobile model picker exposes supported connected providers and models; the full OpenRouter library-selection experience remains on the web.

For users included in the current voice rollout, the microphone begins a live voice capture and sends the final transcript to Tally. Voice is controlled by rollout availability and may not appear for every firm or user.

The Tally options menu includes Pause Tally, Resume Tally, and Report a problem. A problem report can also pause Tally while the firm investigates. Pausing stops Tally work until an authorized firm user resumes it.

Requests, Statements, And Reports

Accountant Requests is the firm queue, with company filtering and the supported reply, assignment, resolution, dismissal, and reopening actions. Company owners see the requests and messages available to their selected company.

Mobile Statements uses the shared statement store. Users can review statement inventory, open OCR details, and upload supported statement evidence. Receipt and statement uploads are evidence; they do not automatically prove the books or reconciliation are complete.

Client and accountant Reports share the same report catalog and native detail views. Mobile includes Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, General Ledger, comparison reports, Cash Flow, and Financial Ratios, with PDF/XLSX export where supported.

Notifications And Support

Mobile push notifications are on by default until the user explicitly turns a type off. Notification preferences control the available client and accountant events, including request and bank-reconnect attention. The operating system must also allow LedgerHQ notifications.

Support tickets are available from More. Include the company, screen, date, amount or report when relevant, expected result, and the App Info version for a device-specific problem.

Do not put bank credentials, card numbers, API keys, passwords, or raw tokens in a mobile message or support ticket.

What Still Belongs On Desktop

Mobile focuses on fast, well-scoped work. Use desktop for company creation, provider setup, QuickBooks imports, detailed reconciliation repair, broad administration, and the full OpenRouter model-library configuration.
