Connect one bank login to two companies
One person's online-banking login can feed accounts to two companies; map each account on the Accounts page.
A bank login belongs to one person. When that login holds accounts for two of their companies, connect it once and give each account its home on Settings > Accounts. Both companies must be in the same firm, and the person must be an owner of each.
Connect Once
Open either company and choose Bank Feeds > Connect bank (or Connect bank on Accounts). If the company has more than one owner, pick whose login it is. The account holder signs in through Plaid and selects every account both companies need.
Map Each Account
On Settings > Accounts, each new account sits in Needs a home. Choose Business, then the company and register for each account: Company A's accounts to Company A, Company B's to Company B. Anything neither company uses can be marked Not used. Nothing moves between the two companies' books.
Each company's Accounts page lists its owners' logins, so you can open the same login from either company.
Chase, PNC, Navy Federal, and Schwab allow one connection per login. To add accounts later, use Add accounts on the existing login and keep every account already in use selected, or those feeds stop and show Reconnect.
Verify Both Companies
In each company's Bank Feeds, confirm each account card shows the expected bank and digits, the dates are recent, and no Reconnect badge appears.
Disconnecting a login stops it for every company that uses it. See Disconnect or pause a bank feed.
