Manage companies in CRM
Find company contacts, organize tags and groups, and follow engagement and onboarding history.
Find A Company
Open CRM > Clients from the firm navigation. Search by company, contact, or email. Use All tags, All groups, and All onboarding to narrow the directory. Onboarding choices include In onboarding, Onboarded, and Not started.
Select Fee to sort by fee, or Open Client to open the company record. When existing Stripe subscriptions are linked, the fee uses their recurring charges converted to a monthly amount where possible. Otherwise it uses the recorded engagement or package fee. A dash means an amount is unavailable.
Use The Company Record

The record keeps related work in these tabs:
- Overview shows contacts, company information, tags, and relationship details.
- Engagement & Billing holds the signed agreement and bookkeeping subscription.
- Client Portal provides owner access controls and Preview client portal.
- Client Requests links to the company's requests.
- Onboarding appears when an enrollment exists and stays available after completion.
Use Edit information to correct details, then Save information. General CRM changes require firm owner or admin access. Billing and engagement actions also require their billing permissions.
Organize Tags And Groups
Open CRM > Settings > Tags & groups to maintain tags, their colors, and saved groups. Apply tags from the company's information editor. Groups let you reuse a tag-based selection in the directory and in CRM emails.
Directory controls the default directory presentation. Client setup holds the firm's private onboarding checklist. Staff complete manual checklist items; automatic items follow their recorded workflow events.
Follow Onboarding And Files
Open the company's Onboarding tab to review business answers, service and agreement details, payment, files, and the activity timeline. The directory's file-status link also opens this view.
An uploaded file can still be awaiting verification. Files will follow later records the customer's choice to finish onboarding before supplying files. Follow up with that customer when the firm needs the records.
When an Assisted Import request exists, use Open Assisted Import to follow its progress. A completed onboarding form does not mean the import is complete. The history retains the linked request and any replacement requests.
